First Day of Classes
Welcome back, students!
School Office
The school office will be open for phone/email inquiries at 9 AM on August 27 for parents and for student registration. Timetables will be given to students on their first day.
The first day
The first day back for students will be August 31 at 8 AM. Grade 7 students will meet in the gym to locate their Homeroom Teacher. Grade 8-9 students will gather on the field to the west of the school where staff will facilitate homeroom groupings. Signage will be posted to support students.
For the students who are bussed, routes will not be posted online; individual stop information will be available to families who have pre-registered for transportation for the 2026-27 school year through MyCBE. More busing information can be found on the CBE Busing & Transportation.
School Hours
There is no change in our school hours for 2026-27. Mondays to Thursdays will run from 8 AM until 2:30 PM. Every Friday will run from 8 AM until 12:00 PM.

School Supply Lists
For those looking for school supply lists, these will be made available on the course outlines given to students at the beginning of September. If you really want to make some purchases over the summer, you can definitely count on the basics such as: binders, pencils, pens, erasers, dividers, lined paper, white out, and a scientific calculator. Some students prefer an agenda - this is optional.
Meet the Teacher Evening
We will have our initial Meet the Teacher Evening on Thursday, September 24 from 5:30-7:00 PM. There will be a notice sent home to remind parents as we get closer to the date.

We are an Away for the Day School, meaning that cell phones and mobile devices are to be kept powered down in lockers. This follows the Ministerial Order from the Provincial Government.
