We appreciate your continued support in helping our students be respectful and responsible members of our school A warm welcome back to Mr. Aylesworth, who will be in the main office this week helping out while Mme. Hajee is with students on the Eastern Canada trip. Families from Jennie Elliott School may know Mr. Aylesworth from his time there as principal. Thanks Mr. Aylesworth for coming in and helping out!
Last Friday, our staff had the privilege of joining staff from Jennie Elliott to engage in some land based professional learning about the Weaselhead. Here, we had training that deepened teachers’ understanding of the history of the land and Indigenous relationships with the environment. We will use this to support the design of inclusive, culturally responsive learning experiences that reflect diverse perspectives for our students. A special thanks to the Weaselhead Society for hosting us.
Upcoming Construction in the School Field
The Lakeview Community Association wanted to inform you that construction of the new tennis courts, pickleball court, spec tennis court, and half-court basketball court will begin on Monday, April 27, 2026.
The project is expected to take approximately two months to complete. During this time, there will be construction fencing around the perimeter of the courts, as well as a portable toilet on site.
For safety reasons, we kindly ask that students refrain from entering or gathering in the construction area throughout the duration of the project.

Welcome to Hallway Hysteria!, where the rules are made up, the teachers are losing control, and absolutely nothing goes according to plan. This show is a fast-paced rollercoaster through the wonderfully weird world of school life. Whether you’re a student, parent, teacher, or just someone who survived school, this show will have you laughing, cringing, and cheering all the way to the final bow.
