Bonjour BP families, 

I wanted to take a moment to recognize our grade 9 students who had a chance to celebrate with their families last week at part one of their farewell event. What a delight to see so many smiling faces, dancing, enjoying time spent with one another. They looked so sharp! The 9's will also have a chance to celebrate with their peers and teachers at Heritage Park this Thursday during the day. 

Athletics Final Summary of Results  

We’re thrilled to celebrate the incredible achievements of our student-athletes this season at Bishop Pinkham! Our athletes all displayed dedication, teamwork, and sportsmanship, making our school community proud. Due to the labour action in October, no season of play occurred for basketball and soccer. Thank you for your continued support in encouraging our athletes to reach their full potential both on and off the field. Go Panthers!  

Badminton:  

  • Gr. 7 – 1st place – girls singles, girls doubles, and boys doubles  
  • Gr. 8 – 1st place- girls doubles   
  • Gr. 8 - also 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishes from three boys double teams  
  • Gr. 9 – 2nd place – girls doubles and 3rd place boys singles   

Cross Country:   

  • 2nd overall finishing in the standings!  

Track & Field:  

  • 1st overall finish out of 9 schools  

Volleyball:   

  • Jr. Girls – 2nd place  
  • Sr. Girls – 3rd place  
  • Sr. Boys – 5th place  

Yearbooks

Yearbooks will be handed out at school on June 24th. So far, 350 yearbooks have been purchased. There are still some available for those who would like to purchase one — don’t miss out! Here is an active link to purchase a yearbook. Once all available copies are sold, the link will no longer allow purchases. The link will also close on June 22nd to prepare for distribution.

Lost and Found Reminder 

This is a final reminder to have your student check the Lost & Found before the end of the school year. 

Our collection includes a large number of jackets, hoodies, water bottles, lunch kits, shoes, and other personal items. Students can check the Lost & Found during school hours. 

Any unclaimed items remaining at the end of this week will be donated. 

Thank you for your help in reuniting these items with their owners!
