Bonjour BP families.
We are sending this week's update a bit early so that you can view the sports tryout schedule below and plan accordingly if necessary. I would like to thank our students for their cooperation as we navigate the new Personal Mobile Device policy this year. A reminder that if students are bringing any personal mobile device that connects to the internet, those items will need to be powered down and stored in backpacks/lockers for the duration of the school day.
Class Change Requests and Complementary Courses
We are continuing to experience high levels of enrollment, which require ongoing adjustment and balancing of classes. Parent requests for class changes cannot be accommodated at this time. On the same note, students wishing to change complementary classes (options) will be staying in their classes as assigned for a couple of weeks as we are still adding students to our roster. Once enrolment has settled and there is a chance to switch options, an option change request form will be made available for students on September 16. Note that we may not be able to accommodate all option change requests due to class size.

Students on Individualized Program Plans (IPPs)
During the first weeks of September, the Student Learning Team is busy reviewing student files, studying last year’s goals and accommodations, and supporting students as they transition into a new school year. HR teachers are assigned to students on IPPs during the month of September. Teachers appreciate time to get to know your child first, after which they will reach out to parents with a call or email. Be assured that we know your child and are planning a careful entry into school for them.
SALTS Trip Update - Grade 9
Thank you to all who have sent their expression of interest forms and deposits in. Our next steps will be to complete a draw next week and then notify families of acceptance or wait list status. A parent meeting will be scheduled in the next couple of weeks with more trip details and itinerary possibilities.
