BP Weekly Updates | December 19, 2023
Bonjour BP families:
Bravo et félicitations to our student leadership team and students who raised $632 for Kid Sport and Brown Bagging for Kids with their book fair and bake sale! It feels so great to give!
Please note that the school is closed for winter break and will be inaccessible to students who may need to retrieve any effects. Please remind your students that they should be bringing all they need home with them.
PowerSchool
Please note that PowerSchool will be disabled for parent/student viewing starting on December 22, so that teachers can start working on report card marks/comment entry. From this date, if you have any questions about your child's achievement, please contact the teacher.
French For Parents
If any parents are interested in learning French (perhaps alongside your child(ren)), please see this link, offered by Chinook Learning. It's a wonderful way to see what your immersion student experiences daily and refresh/build your French vocabulary https://www.chinooklearningservices.com/ContEd/AdultCourses/French-For-Parents-Level-1.html
Library Books
Please make sure that any outstanding library books are returned before Friday.
Locker Clean-Outs and Lost-and-Found
Students will be given time on Thursday to organize their lockers, throw out accumulated goods, and take home all water bottles, food remains, etc. All accumulated coats, shirts, boots, etc. will be organized on a lost-and-found table for students to view and retrieve. All unclaimed items will be donated to charity in January. They will likely need extra bags to bring their goods home.
