BP Weekly Updates | November 28, 2023
Bonjour BP families:
The best part of our week was connecting with students and their parents about progress in learning over the parent teacher conferences. Thank you for the positive level of participation. It takes a strong home-school team to give our youth the best environment in which to thrive. The Learning Conferences provided an important moment to celebrate student growth and clarify understanding of what students should be focussed on between now and the Semester 1 report card at the end of January. If you were unable to meet, missed your appointment, or require further clarification, please do not hesitate to email your child’s teacher. Increasingly, throughout the middle years, we also want to promote student self-advocacy in directing questions and requests to their teachers, who care for them and want to help them strengthen their voice in learning. BP staff emails are posted to the website.
I'd also like to give a shout out to our Jr. Girls basketball team who brought back the divisional championships last week. What a game and what a season!! Bravo, les filles!
Winter Band Concert and Fine Arts Celebration
Our band students, under the guidance of Mr. Mikalson, have been hard at work preparing their repertoire to perform at our Winter Band Concert to be held on December 7th. We are so excited to also share the amazing work of our art and drama students, led by Ms. Stunell and Ms. Duffy. Please see attached invite for the gallery walk and band concert information.
