We hope that the last couple of weeks off allowed you to rest and recharge to end the year. We are happy to see students again and to hear of their winter break adventures.
BP Open House
We are excited to host our annual BP Open House for new students for the 26-27 school year. If you have a student joining us or interested in joining for the 26-27 school year starting in September, please come. You and your student will have a chance to learn some more about the registration process, our school and the programs we offer (English, Late French Immersion, Continuing French Immersion, and CSSI) and have a tour! Please see attached invitation . Our Late French Immersion Team will have visited our feeder school students in grade 6 to also let them know about the program.
For grade 9 BP Families with a student transitioning to grade 10 for 2026-2027
Ms. McNeice from Student Services will be hosting a general High School Information Meeting on January 20th from 4 - 5pm. You can join either in person or virtually on teams. For information specific to your student's high school make sure to attend the open house for their high school see below for the current information. Please refer to the school website for additional information and to check for changes in their schedules.

For Grade 9 Families from Western Canada High School
Western Canada High School will be hosting an Open House opportunity on Tuesday, January 27th from 3:30-5:00 pm for current grade 9 students/families who might be interested in learning more about the school’s option programming (prior to guidance visits and course selection in February). Grade 9 Tours for direct feeder schools will take place earlier that day, as well, so many students will also be able to visit the school in that capacity. More information about course programming for 2026/27 will be available on the WCHS website after the winter break. BelCanFran Student Exchange
BelCanFran is a private organization which offers 12-week programs to France with billeting in homes. There will be a special presentation for any interested families on Saturday, January 17 from 3-4:30 PM at the Wildwood Community Centre. BELCANFRAN Brochure
