Bonjour BP families,
This Wednesday, May 6, we will be recognizing Hats On! for Mental Health, part of Mental Health Week, led by the Canadian Mental Health Association.
Students are invited to wear a hat as a visible way to show their support for mental health. Hats On! is about raising awareness, starting conversations, and reminding one another that mental health matters—every day, for everyone.
By taking part, students help create a school environment where it feels more comfortable to talk about mental health and where support and understanding are encouraged.
Gauss Math Contest Date Change
We would like to inform you of a change to the date of the Gauss Math Contest. The contest, originally scheduled for Monday, May 11, will now take place on Thursday, May 14, during period 4 and lunch. At this time, registration is now closed, and no additional students can be added.
Ongoing Construction in The School Field
The Lakeview Community Association wanted to inform you that construction of the new tennis courts, pickleball court, spec tennis court, and half-court basketball court will begin on Monday, April 27, 2026.
The project is expected to take approximately two months to complete. During this time, there will be construction fencing around the perimeter of the courts, as well as a portable toilet on site.
For safety reasons, we kindly ask that students refrain from entering or gathering in the construction area throughout the duration of the project.
Hallway Hysteria
May 6, 5:00 - 6:00 PM. Please come out to support our students and celebrate their hard work!
Ever wondered what would happen if every awkward, hilarious, and slightly unhinged school moment happened all in one hour? Welcome to Hallway Hysteria!, where the rules are made up, the teachers are losing control, and absolutely nothing goes according to plan. This show is a fast-paced rollercoaster through the wonderfully weird world of school life. Whether you’re a student, parent, teacher, or just someone who survived school, this show will have you laughing, cringing, and cheering all the way to the final bow.
