Bonjour BP families!
With the snowstorm upon us at the beginning of this week, it's a good reminder to make sure your students are dressing properly for the weather (more than the standard junior high school uniform of a hoodie and jeans!). In PE, students will still be going outside, so please ensure that have hats, mitts, and boots to be able to participate. At lunch time, students can still be outside for their break, and for those who prefer to remain inside, they can eat lunch and be with their friends in one of our many open and supervised classrooms, participate in lunchtime clubs, and intramurals. Offerings are updated on the school TV broadcast system, and in daily announcements.
Quick + Easy Pick-Up Reminder
Got an appointment on the schedule? Give your kid a heads-up before the school day starts, so they know what's coming. Then just give the office a ring about 10–15 minutes before you arrive. We’ll let your child know so they can sign themselves out and meet you outside—no extra wait time, no chaos.
When you call, just tell us whether they’re done for the day or coming back. Easy!
Reporting A Student Absence
Did you know you can email us to report an absence? It’s fast and easy! Just send a quick note with the student full name and reason for absence to bishoppinkham@cbe.ab.ca.
You can also call the Bishop Pinkham absence line at 403-777-7840 and leave a message anytime if that’s easier for you.

Pinkham Spirit Wear
We are excited to share that Bishop Pinkham has partnered with Summarized Designs to launch a brand-new Panther Clothing Store! Our goal is to help students feel a strong sense of community and pride while offering convenient access to quality spirit wear.
The store features a selection of school-spirit items for students including hoodies, sweaters, shirts, and shorts. Student will also be able to customize colours, sizes, and logos on select items. All items are optional to purchase.
Please note that all sales are final. We are happy to make exceptions for size exchanges or any quality concerns to ensure families are satisfied.
We invite you to check out the store to browse the new collection! If you order, the items will be delivered ready to the school for student pick up in 1-2 weeks.
