Bonjour BP families
Sending this message along today, as tomorrow is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Today, our staff spent the morning learning about integrating Indigenous ways of knowing and doing for classwork. This is a part of our work as teachers to walk towards ReconciliAction in education and towards the Alberta Education Teacher Quality Standard.
National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
All staff, students, families, and friends are invited to continue their learning and show their support on Tuesday, Sept. 30 from 9 - 10:30 a.m. at the Orange Shirt Day & National Day for Truth and Reconciliation event taking place at the Confluence Historic Site.

Terry Fox Run
Our Terry Fox Run took place on September 17, 2025. Bravo to our students who ran a collective 1572 km! If we began our race in St. Johns, Newfoundland, our journey would nearly reach Fredericton, New Brunswick. This year, our goal as a school is to raise $2,000 to support cancer research and so far we have collected $1,700. Our school is proud of the students participation and support around are annual Terry Fox event.
How to Donate
- Donations can be made online or by bringing a toonie for Terry to one of your PE teachers. Please submit your donations, as we will be keeping the website active till the end of the day on October 10.
