Bonjour BP families,
Thank You, BPPA!
A huge thank-you to BPPA for organizing volunteers for our upcoming casino fundraiser in December!
Please consider volunteering your time, as this event provides the school with approximately $70,000–$85,000 to put toward enhancements, experiences, and supplies for our school and students.
The school will not be able to benefit from the casino proceeds if there are not enough volunteers. No experience is necessary!

CBE Student Surveys
Each school year, students in the Calgary Board of Education (CBE) may be invited to participate in surveys designed to gather feedback about their learning experiences, well-being, engagement, and school environment.
These surveys support school and system planning and help improve the programs and supports offered to students.
Parents who do not want their children to participate can complete the consent form and select “Do Not Consent.” The deadline is Friday, October 30, 2026.
If you consent to your child participating, no action is required.
The surveys will take place November 16–18.

Halloween at BP
Halloween is coming up, and students are welcome to wear costumes on Friday, October 30!
As you help your child choose a costume, please ensure it is school-appropriate, safe, and allows them to participate fully in learning activities.
Please avoid costumes that include:
- Weapons
- Excessive gore
- Full-face coverings
- Offensive stereotypes or cultural appropriation
- References to tragic events
- Attire that does not align with school expectations
Students may be asked to change if their costume is not appropriate for school.
